Nexus Aba Therapy in Brampton, Ontario is approved by the Ontario Autism Program for providing aba therapy services in the home, daycare and private school setting for children with autism spectrum disorder in Brampton. What are the Benefits of Home based Aba Therapy Program
Home-based ABA services allow teaching to occur in the child’s natural environment and incorporates learning within the child’s natural routines and activities of daily living including: dressing, washing, play, community outtings, meal time and toileting. When aba therapy is delivered in the child's home it allows for parents and other family members to be actively involved in their child’s treatment. Parent education and coaching helps to to equip parents with the requisite skills to positively influence their child’s behavior, teach their child new skills and learn how to implement positive replacement behaviors for more successful treatment outcomes.

Children on the autism spectrum who experience difficulties with listening, focusing and working independently at school are able to learn more readily with one to one aba intervention. Our academic intervention programs based on direct instruction and modeling are tailored to address each student’s needs and level of achievement. Our aba therapists have backgrounds in behavioural and developmental psychology, and use their skills to train students in emotional intelligence, executive functioning, organizational skills and memory strategies.

Aba & Occupational therapy
Many children diagnosed with autism face challenges with sensory processing, fine motor skills, hand writing and performing activities of daily living such as dressing, eating and playing. Nexus Therapy offers occupational therapy collaboration to promote, maintain, and develop the skills needed by children to be functional within the home, school setting and beyond. This includes:

Nexus Aba Therapy offers direct therapeutic intervention combined with parent traning to support with life skills training. Our aba programs target a variety of functional life skills including: feeding, bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, toileting, organization, following daily schedules and performing household duties.
