Assessment

The initial evaluation takes place in the comfort of the child's home.  It consists of discussion with parents and caregivers and data collection based on formal and informal testing procedures, observations and direct interactions with the child.

The assessment process allows the Behaviour Analyst to understand each child's strengths and areas of need and thereby put together a treatment program to help with communication, language acquisition, learning, behavior, social skills development, and other critical developmental goals tailored to meet the individual needs of each child.

Behaviour Consultation

Our Behaviour Analysts help families to address behavioral challenges in variety of settings both within and outside of the home. After meeting with parents and family members to discuss their child's behavioural concerns, a Behavior Analyst will outline behaviour protocols and environmental modifications to support the attainment of specific behavioral outcomes. Behaviour consultation requires on going data analysis, regular monitoring to review outcomes and making program adjustments as required. By collecting accurate data and background information our Behaviour Analysts can help parents to better understand the reason their child is presenting with certain challenging behaviors as well as the necessary protocols and adjustments that will need to be implemented to help address them over time.
